How ELIXIR Extends Battery Life

As the Pulse Technology is defined, Elixir, on being installed with lead-acid battery, supply train of DC pulses to the battery plates. The frequency of these pulses is such that they create resonance to the crystallized sulfate formation. As a result, the chemical bonds between individual crystals break-off. The extra electrical energy (other than normal charging) provided by the DC pulses enable the individual lead sulfate crystal to free individual state of ion i.e. lead ions (Pb++) & sulfate ions (SO4=). These freed sulfate ions when receive normal charging current return to the solution. The battery plates being free from sulfate deposition remain clean & uncorroded with a larger exposed area to contact with electrolyte. On the other hand the sulfate ions going back to the electrolyte from lead sulfate crystals, increase & maintain specific gravity of electrolyte which was fallen down due to sulfation buildup.
